ZEKE VS. THE DEAD

From abandoned war bunkers to haunted inns, a sceptical Zeke hunts for evidence of the paranormal, one questionable decision at a time... ... but perhaps the real ghosts are the friends he makes along the way.

  1. #08 - BEING STALKED BY A POLTERGEIST IN A SCHOOL

    Come for the ultra-atmospheric urban exploration, stay for the mind-shattering terror of being trapped in a pitch-black attic with a ghost actively searching for you. This abandoned school was somehow even more oppressive than the subterranean war bunker we did. As eerily beautiful as it was, things started off horrible, and then they got worse. We made the highly idiotic decision to go our separate ways to see if we could figure out which of the two dormitories was the 'haunted one'. SPOILER ALERT: I drew the short straw, and whatever was in that wing of the building was FURIOUS.

  2. #07 - MIDNIGHT AT A 1,000 YEAR OLD CASTLE

    After failing to get into one castle in a spectacular way, we instead set our sights higher and snook into what is claimed to be Devon's most haunted castle and spent a few hours exploring with high-definition mics under the light of the full moon. Zeke falls flat on his arse.

  3. #06 - YEAH THIS HOTEL ROOM IS A BIT F***ED UP IN RETROSPECT

    The bros are treated to the highest of hospitality at the Finnygook Inn as the owners regale them with the storied history of the Cornish pub and its famous phantom. All charming and delightful, until the spirit of Finny itself decides to get in on the vlogging action.

  4. #05 - EVER HEARD A DEMON ON MIC? 

    A church with a millennia of desecration is bound to incite some restless spirits. On a stereotypical dark and stormy night, we encounter either multiple entities dancing around us or one very FAST one tripping all the equipment. All pretty standard, and then we got home and listened closer to the lapel mic audio.

  5. #04 - A BURNT DENTISTS' CHAIR IN AN UNDERGROUND BUNKER? SURE LET'S VISIT

    Is this place haunted? Probably not. Is it mind-bendingly terrifying to such a level that the sheer oppressiveness makes your base synapses hallucinate imagined terrors in every shadow? Of course! And as such, we had to spend a night here. Of course. First was the tricky issue of getting into this damn place... 

  6. #03 - THIS UNASSUMING COTTAGE ENDED UP BEING THE GOLD STANDARD OF 'GHOST PROOF'  

    The above isn't just clickbait. I genuinely cannot explain the stuff we experienced that night and managed to catch in the video above. The owner told us stuff kept happening in her small cottage. It sounded so far-fetched that I rolled my eyes, but we took her up on an evening alone inside it. I was convinced it was going to be the most boring investigation imaginable on going in.  We left with serious doubts in our scepticism after what we managed to capture in THAT room.

  7. #02 - IT'S A LITTLE BIT OF WALL 

    We investigate the VERY ancient, secret chapel in... well, who knows where. Nobody has heard of it or how to get there, but once we figure it out, we explore one of England's most obscure secrets and attempt to commune with the ghost of mad monk Robert de Middlecote. The mad monk decided to respond.

  8. #01 - OVERNIGHT AND ALONE IN A HAUNTED INN 

    The Gresham House Inn has been freaking out staff and patrons. Has the ghost of 1830s landlord Richard Tripe been paying a visit? We rig the entire place with equipment to find out if it is as haunted as staff and patrons suggest... only to encounter the ghost of pop singer Jennifer Paige, who at the time of writing, is very much alive?
